OMNICORPDETROIT prepares and installs their CAMP installation for Movement 2012

As we gear up for an exciting weekend, part of recently dubbed “Detroit Techno Week” (finally!) by Mayor Dave Bing, OMNICORPDETROIT and CAMP participants are putting the final touches on their projects, which will be shown off for the third year as a part of Movement 2012.

OMNICORP’s project, called Partycles, is up and had barely and snags during installation.Consisting of laser-cut mirrored acrylic, OCD intended to make an atmosphere to please festival-goers’ aural and visual senses.

Today, May 24, we’re working with Gabe from the infamous Electric Forest and installing some lights, which will compliment the spinning Partycles suitably.

Come to Movement this weekend, see your favorite DJs and check out all that Paxahau and CAMP have to offer.

See you there!

Also this weekend:

Tonight, Thursday May 24, don’t forget to check out the opening at the Red Bull House of Art, in Eastern Market, where a few friends of OCD are exhibiting their hard work and artistic masterpieces.

Saturday, Check out the Good Wood Exhibit, where local and internationally acclaimed artists have painted custom designs, among other things, on skateboards. The auction ends Saturday and all proceed will go towards Power House Productions‘ Ride It Sculpture Park.

Never a boring moment in Detroit!
