Looking at moving to a lot of places after college, and considering Detroit! I heard about your business in Johnny Knoxville’s documentary, and it looks like something I’d genuinely be interested in! I have done a few hacks myself, and playing with electronics is one of my hobbies. I am a physics major with an emphasis in electrical engineering here at Coe College in Iowa. I would love to have more information about OCD!

That’s a darn good question! (( But probably more than what would fit on the comment board. )) http://hackerspaces.org/wiki/Hackerspaces is a good resource, but if you would like to see how it works first hand I would recommend you attend an open-hack night!

    Hi there,

I´m a young German automotive engineer, hopefully moving to Detroit within the next six months. While doing a little research on Detroit I stumbled across the awesome documentary with Johnny Knoxville (showing a very different aspect to his personality than what MTV serves us here) and I was totally thrilled by the spirit and passion of the people who are doing such an amazing job for the city.
So this is kind of a longshot, but IF my plans and hopes are coming true, I would like to check out your project, too, and maybe get some advice about moving to / living in Detroit beforehand.

Keep the good work up and thanks in advance!
