Class #1: (4/12)
The first class will cover the basics of on-road emergency repair as well as basic bike upkeep. This class is designed to be a basic, hands-on, introduction to bicycle mechanics and repair.
Class #2: (4/26)
The second class will be a full bike brake-down and rebuild, starting with the bearing systems then moving into the braking systems. This will be done on the students’ own bicycle and any replacement parts will have to be bought before hand. (A quick replacement parts overview will be provided in class one)
Class #3: (5/3)
The last class in the series will be finishing up the full bike re-build. This class will cover the drivetrain and any other bicycle accessories. Like the second class, all replacement parts will have to be purchased before hand (a quick replacement parts overview will be provided in class one). This class will then end with a simple intro to proper bike fit and riding technique.
All participants must bring their own bike and be prepared to get greasy! This is a full hands-on class.
Tools and bike stands will be provided.
